Is it possible to crack Super TET without good knowledge of Maths?

Country’s development is dependent on the young generation. Due to this reason, it is important to educate them and then make them aware of the other things. Literacy is something that should not be considered as the medium of earning money. It is one of the mediums that help in glorifying society. A limited number of students think about becoming teachers. However, one must forget that a teacher is the one who builds a student.

Due to this reason, the Super TET is arranged by the UP government every year. This examination is great for the students to frame their minds so that they can be successful teachers. When appearing for the Super TET examination, it is important to keep in mind that mathematics is an integral part, and every student has to clear it.

Super TET exam is an entry-level examination and contains 150 multiple-choice questions. You will get only two and half hours to finish the exam. To make the competition tough, the seats are limited. The exam has four sections: language, teaching methodology, environmental and science and mathematics, science or mathematics, and child psychology. Due to the cutthroat competition, students have to put a lot of effort in science and mathematics. Here are some of the tips you can follow when preparing for Super TET.

Emphasize on focus areas

When preparing for the Super TET examination, choosing the focus areas according to the examination pattern is important. Some of the most common topics that are asked in the examination include number system (fraction, exponent, square, and cube root), Algebra (numeric and quadratic equations, algebraic expression, and algebraic expression), Arithmetic (profit and loss, time and distance, ratio and proportion, SI and CI), and others. You must give equal importance to both Paper-I and Paper- II. As the examination dates come near, it is better if your shift your focus only to the important topics.

Prioritize your weak points

Students always tend to focus on their strengths instead of their weakness. However, it is important to understand that it is easy to focus on the strengths. Due to this reason, make sure that you are focusing on your weaknesses. It will improve your weak areas and remove the fear of attempting the tough questions.

Keep practicing

Mathematics is a practical subject. If you increase your practicing skills, it will bring major improvements. However, it is important that you focus on the weak points instead of your strengths. Make sure that you solve the Super TET previous year’s question and opt for online mock tests. These are extremely necessary since it helps in improving problem-solving capabilities.

Mental calculations

Since you will not get any calculators, it is important that you develop mental calculation skill. You can only develop this skill if you continuously practice mathematics, especially mental calculations.
